Anita Wills

Anita Wills, age 70, of Cicero, IN passed away October 9, 2018 at Riverview Health at Noblesville, IN.  She was born November 28, 1947 at Munich, Germany to Hugo and Emma (Shipke) Schlagbauer.  Her parents preceded her in death.

She had first worked as a bookkeeper and activities director at the former Noblesville Nursing Home for 13 years, then as a bookkeeper for McGinnis Construction Company, third for Riverview Hospital for 8 years, and lastly for WalMart as a cashier for several years.

Anita liked to read, knit, crochet and surf the web.  She enjoyed interacting with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her family said that she probably held the record for having a driver's learning permit the longest time--over two decades.  She reasoned that when she needed to drive she always had a licensed driver with her.

She married David LeRoy Wills on July 6, 1985.  He survives her.  Also surviving is a son: Michael (Jada) Smith of Clarkston, Michigan, step children: Carol (Jim) Miller of Anderson, IN, Edward (Sonia) Wills of Seaside, CA, Beth (Dennis) Grote of Indianapolis, IN, William (Amy) Wills of Noblesville, IN, Carmen (Samer) Shew of Noblesville, IN, Robert John (Betty Jo ) Wills of Cicero, IN and Betty (Dave) White of Cicero, IN, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with visitation from 5:00 until time of the services.  Graveside rites will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Cicero Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
