Bobby Allen Eggers

Bobby Allen Eggers, age 80, of Atlanta, Indiana passed away June 25, 2018 at Harbour Manor Health and Living at Noblesville, IN.

He was born September 27, 1937 at Mishawaka, IN to Herbert and Louise (Hague) Eggers.

He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School with the Class of 1955.  He then worked as a buffer and polisher of musical instruments for several companies in the Elkhart area that included Conns, Armstrongs, United Musical Instruments and Selmers. 

He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Mishawaka.  He had a love and concern for children that was relayed as he coached his own sons and daughter as well as other children in sporting activities.  He had served as president, coach and umpire at East Side Little League at South Bend, IN.  He also participated in sports as a fast pitch softball pitcher, golfer and bowler.  And he enjoyed watching most sporting events, especially boxing.

He married Sandra Marie (Crutchfield) Eggers on July 19, 1959 and together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage.  She survives him along with two sons: Scott Eggers of Atlanta, IN, Robert (Sabrina) Eggers of Cicero, IN, a daughter: Stacey (Dr. Edwin) Bolander of Whitestown-Zionsville, IN, a brother: Herbert E. Eggers of Port Charlotte, FL, plus four grandchildren: Tyler Arnold, Reese Eggers, Ava Eggers, and Nataleigh Eggers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Delores Peterson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034 with Pastor Byron Fritz officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral Friday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 East 86th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.  You may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
