Cathy Sue Ehman

Cathy Sue Ehman, age 68, of Noblesville, IN passed away September 8, 2018 at her home.

She was born February 15, 1950 at Elwood, IN to Donald Eugene and Dorothy Elizabeth (Smith) Lane.

She was a graduate of Tipton High School with the Class of 1968. She was a member of Atlanta Christian Church.

Mrs. Ehman had worked over 22 years for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.  She first was employed at the Noblesville Branch, eventually becoming Regional Manager for the Bureau.  By request, she wrote policies and procedures for the transitions that were implemented and are still in effect today.

She was a talented artist producing many paintings.  She painted using oils, acrylics and pastels.  She did some portraits, but her favorites were landscapes, florals and pastoral scenes with barns. 

Cathy loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.  She married Dennis Gene Ehman on October 12, 1968 and was especially proud of being married nearly 50 years.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is a son: Dennis Jeffery (Susie) Ehman of Noblesville, grandchildren: Kassandra and Austin Ehman of Noblesville, and a sister Terri Smith of Tipton, IN.  

Her parents and a sister, Connie Harper preceded her in death.
