After graduation Toj gained employment at Delco Remy at Anderson, IN where he worked for 34 years.

He shared his athletic ability with his three sons, volunteering his time coaching them in the Farm League Baseball Association at Arcadia, IN.  His love of the outdoors resulted in taking his sons on fishing, camping and hunting trips and he carried on these traditions with his grandchildren on his dream farm that he built in Switzerland County, Indiana.
