Dorothy Arlene Feeley, age 85, of Cicero, IN passed away Saturday June 30, 2018 at home.
She was born March 25, 1933 at Akron, IN to Ivan and Virley (Slone) Mattix.
She was a graduate of Greenfield High School with the Class of 1952. She then began working in the healthcare field, first in private practice for a group of physicians. She then worked as a medical surgical technician in surgery departments, followed by ten years of working in the Emergency Room at Community East Hospital. After retiring from the medical field, she worked for a few years at Kohl's Department Store at Noblesville.
She was an active member of Cicero Christian Church, where she served by organizing and helping prepare meals for Soup, Salad and Scripture Bible Studies, funeral dinners and other occasions. She was also a member of the Cicero American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer for the Humane Society for Hamilton County. She loved being with her family and said her most favorite thing to do was to cook for her family and their friends.
Dorothy is survived by four sons: Michael Wheeler of Arcadia, IN, Dennis (Janet) McKeeman of Cicero, IN, Randall (Alcie) McKeeman of Whiteland, IN and Mark McKeeman of Cicero, IN, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law: Mary Jane Webb of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Feeley, her parents, a brother: Harold Webb and a sister: Oma Kelley.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Cicero Christian Church, 1715 Stringtown Pike, Cicero, IN 46034 with Elder John Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of the services.
