Harlie Dean Johnson, age 76, of Cicero, IN passed away September 10, 2019 at his home.
He was born January 21, 1943 at Moss, Tennessee to George Bedford and Semmie Bell (Moore) Johnson.
Harlie was a self-employed carpenter and general contractor. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and was an avid country music fan. He attended Cicero United Methodist Church.
He married Mary Frances (Rode) Johnson on January 13, 1968. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Darlene Ellen Bond of Anderson, IN, a nephew that was raised in the home: David Lee Harris of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Ashley Glaze, Joshua Harris and Brandon Harris, and great-grandchildren: Gavin Wages and Kavara Glaze.
Additional survivors include the following siblings: Bedford, Jr, James, Lester, and Carlie Johnson, Delores Tays, Rosie Clayton, Anna Rode, and Linda Emondson.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are two brothers: Elmer and Jack Johnson.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Cicero United Methodist Church with Pastor Byron Fritz officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of the services. Burial will occur at Cicero Cemetery.
