June Elizabeth Dayton, age 92, of Indianapolis, IN passed away April 2, 2018 at American Village at Indianapolis.
She was born June 18, 1925 at Washington, New Hampshire to Fred B. and Elba (Korb) Chase.
She had earned a Doctorate Degree in chemistry and had retired as a Professor at Marion University.
She married Rhodes Pike Dayton on February 15, 1947. He preceded her in death February 24, 2009. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
Surviving her are four sons: Stephen Dayton of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Dayton of Flora, MS, Dr. Mark Dayton of Bloomington, IN and Christopher Dayton of Arcadia, IN, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:30 P.M. at Cicero Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830.
