Laura Lee Higgins

Laura Lee Higgins, age 36, of Atlanta, IN passed away December 7, 2019 at IIU Methodist Health Hospital at Indianapolis, IN.

She was born May 24, 1983 at Southport, IN to Timothy and Cindy Lee (Wright) Hicks.  She attended Southport Schools and graduated with the Class of 2001.  She also earned as Associates Degree in Nursing and and worked in the healthcare field.

She married John Joseph Higgins and together they are parents of five children that range in age from a few months to 13 years old.  She greatly enjoyed her role as wife and mother and looked forward to family gatherings.  She also was a faithful member of Cicero Christian Church and a lady of great faith. Laura loved to attend Bible studies and share God's love with others.  She also enjoyed reading and cooking. 

Surviving her is her husband: John Joseph Higgins, children: Justin Hicks, Timothy (T.J.) Higgins, Layla Higgins, Katielee Higgins, and Abigail Higgins, parents: Timothy Hicks of Missouri, Cindy Lee Hemphill of Unionville, IN, and a brother: Jake Hicks. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Cicero Christian Church, 1715 Stringtown Pike, Cicero, IN 46034 with Pastor Adam Colter officiating.  Visitation will be from 3:00until time of the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hartley Funeral Homes to assist the family.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
