Lawrence A. Russell

Lawrence A. Russell, age 79, of Noblesville, IN passed away September 28, 2018 at Harbour Manor Nursing Home at Noblesville.

He was born May 1, 1939 at Jonesville, Virginia to Hascue and Hazel (Robbins) Russell.  His parents preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Jonesville High School with the Class of 1957.  He had been employed at the Conner Prairie Farms, working with their cattle. He then worked for 28 years as a firefighter for the City of Noblesville.  After retiring from the Noblesville Fire Department, he worked for H&R Vending Company at Noblesville.

He enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors.  He also loved being with his family.

He married Geraldine Ann (Landes) Russell on November 20, 1960.  She survives him.  Additional survivors include a son: Carl (Stacey) Russell of Forsyth, IL, daughters: Kathy Boren of Noblesville, Sally (Mark) Schildmeier of Cicero, and Wanda (Don) Goodwin of Noblesville, a sister: Susie Matthews of Lakewood, NJ, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of the services.  Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Noblesville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, 135 South 9th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.  You may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
