Marilyn Colvin Obituary

Marilyn Jean Colvin, age 82, of Noblesville, IN passed away August 18, 2018 at the Lodge at Noblesville, IN.

She was born February 25, 1936 at Luck, Wisconsin to Josef and Anna Margaret (Jenssen) Hermstad.

She was a graduate of Luck High School and completed one year of college. 

She married Maurice Alva Colvin on February 14, 1959 and moved into her role of homemaker, a part she greatly enjoyed. She loved her family, her pets, tending her flower gardens, and sewing.  She was a member of an extension homemakers club and a senior bowling league.

She is survived by three daughters: Margaret Ann Colvin of Fortville, IN, Marj Jo Hopper of Noblesville, IN, and Melissa Jean Colvin of Atlanta, IN, a brother: Russell Hermstad of Anacortes, WA, grandchildren: Molly, Ted and Will Hopper and Grant Louks.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Norman Hermstad and a sister Marjorie Everson.
