Nicholas Alan "Nick" Griffin, age 22, of Cicero, IN died December 21, 2018 near his home due to an auto accident.
He was born October 3, 1996 at Indianapolis, IN to Randall and Kathleen (Brewer) Griffin.
In his formative years, Nick attended Cicero Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School from first through eighth grades. He then attended Indiana Academy in Cicero, IN, graduating in 2015. Through his high school years Nick became interested in body building and faithfully trained at LA Fitness. He also enjoyed playing football and hanging out with his friends. Nick attended college at Southern Adventist University at Collegedale, TN, where he studied business for two and a half years. He continued his studies at IVY Tech and was planning to complete his education at IUPUI.
Nick worked at MRG Flooring in Noblesville where he began working during his seventh grade summer vacation. As the years unfolded he became a wood flooring installer and a valued employee.
Nick was affectionately referred to by his family as the "gentle giant" topping off at almost 6'4". He was kind hearted and a very loyal friend. He loved his family and will be missed every day until Jesus comes.
Surviving him in addition to his parents are two brothers: Mitchell Griffin and Gabriel Griffin, both of Cicero, grandparents: Charles and Evelyn Griffin of Ooltewah, TN and Keith and Carol Brewer of Noblesville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cicero Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Aaron Clark and Pastor Ron Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Hinkle Creek Cemetery near Cicero. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday also at the Church.
