Patricia Ann Gardner

Patricia Ann Gardner, age 88, of Franklin, In and formerly of Hamilton County, IN passed away October 29, 2019 at Johnson Memorial Hospital at Franklin, IN.

She was born August 12, 1931 at St. Louis, Missouri to Cyril and Esther (Rullkoetter) Dickerhoff.  She attended schools in St. Louis and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School.

She married Richard Hudson Gardner on July 11, 1952 and together they raised a family of four children: Paul Donald Gardner of Indianapolis, IN, Mark William Gardner of Batesville, IN, Jayson Ril Gardner of Franklin, IN and Kim Elaine Martin of Cicero, IN.  Additional survivors include 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed her role as a homemaker and loved interacting with her family and helping them.  She also enjoyed visiting with friends and gifting them with items that she had created, especially her cakes.  Leisure time would find her tole painting, hooking rugs and working on geneology.

She was a 53 year member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandchildren: Drew Martrin, Nolan Martin and Andrea Kenney, son-in-law: Ken Martin, and brother: Donald Dickerhoff.

Funeral services will be held November 9, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Meeting House, 11257 Temple Drive, Carmel, IN with visitation from 10:00 until 12:00 Noon.  Burial will follow the services at Cicero Cemetery, Cicero, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.  Arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Homes, Cicero, IN where you may send condolences at
