Richard "Dick" Versprille, Sr., of Noblesville, IN passed away August 17, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN.
He was born October 9, 1936 at Maumee, Ohio to Alphonse Joseph and Pearl Evelyn (Butler) Versprille.
Dick, as he was fondly known, was self-employed in a freight delivering occupation, owning and driving a semi-truck throughout the United States.
Leisure time found him enjoying spending time with his family, and watching Colts and Pacer games. He also was an a NASCAR fan.
He married Jackie (Hord) Versprille on June 22, 1957. She preceded him in death October 4, 1997. In addition to his wife, he also was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law: Tony Neiling.
Surviving him are two sons: Rich (Karen) Versprille of Arcadia, IN and Rob (Deanna) Versprille of Noblesville, IN, daughters: Sue Neiling and Tammy (Andy) Miller both of Arcadia, IN, a brother: Alphonse Versprille of Maumee, Ohio, Grandchildren: Tony Neiling, Celina Versprille, Heather Trump, Luke Versprille, Vanessa Emery, Amanda Williams, Kassi McGrath, Dylan Versprille, Faith Miller and Drew Miller, plus 16 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Miller's Merry Manor and their staff for the excellent care and compassion.
