Terrace “Terry” Floyd Pickett

Terrace "Terry" Floyd Pickett, age 61, of Cicero, IN passed away November 14, 2019 at Eskenazi Hospital at Indianapolis, IN after a brief illness.

He was born June 12, 1958 at Noblesville, Indiana to Phillip Eugene Pickett and Yolanda Sue (Trout) Worthman. 

Terry, as he was fondly known, had worked for many years for the Town of Cicero in the street maintenance and utilities departments.  He was greatly appreciated by the citizens of Cicero Town as he helped others while he was doing his job.  He was happy serving others and visiting with them.  His family attested that he would "fit" in any group or with any persons he met, usually telling them stories that captivated them. 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, grilling, cooking and hosting social gatherings.  But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  

He was a member of the Cicero American Legion and the Noblesville Elks Club.  He attended the Arcadia Christian Church and recently chose to be baptized there with his loving family present.

He married Deborah Lynn (Melendez) Pickett on December 24, 1979. She survives him.  Also surviving are daughters: Tara (Brent)) Louks of Tipton, IN and Amy Prater of Arcadia, IN, brothers: Dave (Cathy) Pickett of Arcadia, IN and Howard Pickett of Lapel, IN, grandchildren: Natalie Head, Mason Prater and Cole Prater, nephews: Zeb (Jennifer) Pickett, Seth (Alison) Pickett, Nic Pickett and Jake Pickett.  

Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles, a great nephew, great nieces, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, plus many friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Arcadia Christian Church with J. R. Moffatt officiating.  Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. also at the Church.  Hartley Funeral Home, P.O.
