William A. Kelly, age 87, of Noblesville, IN passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his home.
He was born August 31, 1932 at Anderson, IN to George Douglas and Eva Gertrude (Thompson) Kelly.
He was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School with the Class of 1951. He then honorably served his country for four years in the United States Navy.
Bill, as he was fondly known, graduated from Purdue University in 1957, earning a degree in drafting and mechanical engineering. He later became a sales manager and worked for many years for the following oil companies, Sinclair, Atlantic Richfield and British Petroleum.
He was a member of the Omega Christian Church, Noblesville Masonic Lodge, the Murat Shrine and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, gardening, and farming. He dearly loved his family and family gatherings.
He married Patricia Jane (Hunter) Kelly on November 4, 1951. She survives him. Additional survivors include a son: Stuart (Melanie) Kelly of Noblesville, IN, daughters: Debra (Donald) Morgan of Arcadia, IN and Dee Anne Muttart of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren:Amanda Morris, Dustin Morgan, William Kelly, Stacey Pierson and Elixabeth Radar, great-grandchildren: Jarrett and Charlotte Morris, Madden Morgan and Christopher Radar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Carolyn Leeman.
Graveside rites will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Crownland Cemetery at Noblesville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
