William (Herbie) Hardison Linville, Sr.

William Hardison Linville, Sr., age 79 of Noblesville, IN passed away June 3, 2019 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN.  He was born January 31, 1940 at Iron City, TN to Clyde Hardison and Lois (Moore) Linville.

He was employed for over 60 years at ID Casting Company, a foundry at Noblesville, IN.  His family attested that he loved to work and when not at his paid employment he found work to do.  At times he would go fishing or play a game or two of bingo. Earlier years he and his wife enjoyed traveling.

He was a member of Onward Church at Fishers, IN.

He married Rebecca Ann (Phillips) Linville on July 1, 1961.  She preceded him in death August 11, 2003.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Paul Linville and sisters: Betty Marchetti and Sandy Oliver.

Surviving him are sons: Bill (Jennifer) Linville of Noblesville, IN and Bob (Tonya) Linville of Lebanon, IN, a daughter: Donna West of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren: Brady West, Zachary West, Emily Linville, Isaiah Linville, Amber Guffey, Jacob Guffey, and Caleb Guffey, great-grandchildren: Autumn Guffey and Aubrey West.  Additional survivors include brothers: Larry, Don, David and Alvin Linville, sisters: Shirley Burnell and Barbara Lacharite.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with Pastors Gary Stump and Brad Pointer officiating.  Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of the services.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
