Carolyn Sue Adams

Carolyn Sue Adams, age 67, of Carmel, IN passed away September 7, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis.

She was born July 10, 1951 at Anderson, IN to Dale Stever and Bessie Jewell Marie (Short) Lambert.  Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1970.  She then became an executive secretary at the Dow Chemical Company at Indianapolis, IN where she worked for several years.

She attended Mt. Runn Baptist Church at Zionsville, IN.  

Mrs. Adams enjoyed making various crafts, reading, photography, and watching family at stock car races.  She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.  And when the grandchildren were arriving you would find grandma Adams baking cookies for them.

She married Lowell Clyde Adams on December 28, 1974.  He survives her.  Also surviving are sons: Kevin Travis (Julie) Adams of Noblesville, IN and Erik Lee (Melissa) Adams of Westfield, IN, brothers: Charlie Lambert of Goshen, IN and Alan Lambert of  Noblesville, IN, sisters: Linda Uhl of Haines City , FL and Cathy Birden of Sheridan, IN, plus grandchildren: Travis, Tiffany, Nicole, Makenna and Kaitlyn Adams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034.  Pastor Jack Walker will officiate.  Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.   You may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
