Charles Franklin Spurrier, age 84, of Noblesville, IN passed away October 2, 2020 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN.
He was born December 9, 1935 at Indianapolis, IN to Rufus Bailey and Edith Blanche (Gray) Spurrier.
After attending schools in Indianapolis, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He then worked for 35 years as a service manager at auto dealerships, first at Dave Mason Buick and lastly at Family Buick, both in Indianapolis, IN. Charles was a car enthusiast from an early age, even collecting them.
He was an avid fan of IU sports, the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. He liked going to flea markets and garage sales, usually searching for automotive items. Most of all he enjoyed family gatherings, especially interacting with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Joseph Charles Spurrier of Noblesville, IN, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Helen (Holsinger) Spurrier, and a son Scott Edward Spurrier.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street. Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery near Arcadia, IN. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of the services.
