David Allen Hayes

David Allen Hayes, age 42 of Atlanta, IN passed away at his home May 28, 2020.  He was born August 10,1977 at Tipton, IN to Dennis Ray and Theresa Ann (Padgett) Hayes.

He was educated at Hamilton Heights Schools and soon became a cook working first at Arnie's Restaurant at Cicero, IN.  His family said this was a bonus for them as he often started the dinner meal for them and they would finish it when they arrived home from work.  He loved animals and he soon became the favorite of the family dog, Coco.  He also enjoyed many types of music, movies and working in the garden.

He is survived by his parents, a brother: Brian Hayes of Atlanta, IN, sister: Morgan Hayes of Indianapolis, IN, grandfather: Robert Hayes and grandmother: Juanita Padgett.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother: Mary Lou Hayes, and grandfather: Charles Padgett.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor Jody Brown officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 prior to the services.  Burial will follow at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery near Arcadia, IN.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
