Erna Fae Foster

Erna Fae Foster, age 83, of Sheridan, IN passed away November 17, 2020.  She was born September 26, 1937 at Folsom, New Mexico to Woodrow and Erna Thelma (Bell) Gripe, the oldest of seven children.  Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Nucla High School at Nucla, Colorado and she attended Gilroy Bible School in Gilroy, California. She was involved in missionary work during most of her life.  Erna was a member of Issachar Church at Sheridan, IN.  She was also a homemaker, a role she greatly enjoyed.

She married Bobby Lee Foster on December 29, 1965 who survives her.  Also surviving is a daughter: Gina Kennedy of Westfield, IN, sons: Craig Foster of Sheridan, IN, Doug Foster of Jacksonville, FL and David Foster of Canton, MI, a brother: Meno Gripe of Naturita, CO, sisters: Bernice Williams of Grand Junction, CO, Audrey Palmer of Grand Junction, CO, Brenda Humble of Fruita. CO, Mary Schwartz of Grand Junction, CO, and Arlene Rice of Miami, OK, plus seven grandchildren.

A private gathering with family and friends will be held locally with funeral services and burial to be held at a later date in Colorado.  Local arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel where you may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
