Frances Endicott Obituary

Frances Marie Endicott, age 90, passed away March 3, 2022 in Rosenberg, Texas after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.  She was a former resident of rural Cicero, Indiana.

She was born December 5, 1931 at Noblesville, IN to Lester B. and Florence L. (Webster) McKinsey.  She attended Jackson Township Schools and graduated from Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1950.

She soon sought employment and first worked at Isen Brothers Furniture Factory and later as a clerk/typist at Firestone Industrial Rubber Company, both in Noblesville, IN.  She married Joe D. Endicott July 19, 1951 and soon moved into her new role as wife and homemaker.

Living in the country she loved to be outdoors where she enjoyed riding her bicycle on the less traveled roads.  Frances also planted a large vegetable garden and would can and freeze the bountiful produce from it.  During the winter months you would find her sewing and crocheting.  She dearly loved and cared for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her faith was important to her and she and her family were regular members and attenders at Arcadia Christian Church.  Upon moving to Texas she attended the Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, Texas.

She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Lee (Jana) Endicott of Rosenberg, Texas, her daughter: Judith Lynn Yeager of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren: Hannah, Bryce, and Geoffrey, great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Abigail, Xavier and Sterling, and a brother: Leslie K. McKinsey of Noblesville.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Joe D. Endicott, brothers: Wilbur McKinsey, A.L. McKinsey and Herbert McKinsey.
