Frances Jeanette King

Frances Jeanette King, age 79, of Arcadia, IN passed away May 1, 2019 at Riverview Health at Noblesville, IN.

She was born August 11, 1939 at Nashville, IN to John Alvin and Della Frances (Alvey) Horton.

She enjoyed her role as wife and mother.  Her children related that she was all about family, therefore family gatherings were a high point of her life.

She married Dempsey Neal King on November 16, 1956. He survives her.  Also surviving are three sons: Michael Neal King of Lebanon, IN, Thomas Alvin King of Noblesville, IN and James Alan King of Noblesville, IN, a sister Bea (Horton) Bollinger of Illinois, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters: Kathryn Kay King and Jacqueline Marie King, brothers: Bud, John and Essie Horton, and sisters: Flossie Jo Horton, Louise Knight, Onie Beckman and Doris Beckman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034 with Pastor Jody Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of the services.
