Jana Arlen Breck

Jana Arlen Breck, age 64, of Cicero, Indiana passed away September 7, 2021 at Riverview Health in Noblesville, IN.

She was born September 10, 1956 at Gary, Indiana to Charles and Winifred (Madosh) Kennedy.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Jana attended schools in Gary, Indiana and graduated from Gary Calumet High School with the Class of 1974.  She had worked as a court reporter and as a bank teller for Community Bank at Westfield, IN for several years.

Jana was a woman of faith and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Cicero, IN.

She married Chris Luke Breck, on September 23, 1983 and together they raised a family of three children including a son: Luke Breck who is serving his country in the armed forces in Germany, daughters: Tara Beck of Arcadia, IN and Shannon Kuhn of Morristown, IN.  Also surviving are two sisters: Judy Christenson of Ocala, Florida and Pamela Richards of Homosassa Springs, Florida, plus six grandchildren.

Jana was a beloved daughter and wife, but perhaps the title she was most proud of was grandma and being affectionately called "Maw".  She loved her six grandchildren and was often found on the floor playing with them, swimming in the pool with them or dressing up because her babies asked her to.

She had a smile that lit up a room and a personality that shined and became a light to everyone she met.  She loved adventure and often traveled to Destin, Florida to visit her two sisters.

Leisure time would find her crafting, making jewelry and diamond paintings.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 South Pearl Street, Cicero, Indiana, 46034 with burial to follow at Cicero Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
