Jean Alice Baldwin

Jean Alice Baldwin, age 82, of Noblesville, IN passed away September 30, 2021 at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born August 20, 1939 at Cicero, IN to Cecil Verland and Mildred Esther (Purkey) Pearson.  She grew up in the Cicero area and graduated from Jackson Central High School in 1958.

She had worked over 27 years as a ward clerk for Riverview Hospital.  Leisure time would find her reading, working on her yard and taking care of her flower gardens.  Her family said she was a rather private person, and just enjoyed being home.

She married John L Baldwin , Jr.  who preceded her in death.  In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter: Karen Baldwin.

Surviving her is a daughter: Johnna Kay Baldwin (Mike Anderson) of Noblesville, IN and a brother: Jimmie Kent (Emily) Pearson of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Holly Dorsey and Johnni Baldwin, and great-grandchildren: Ellie Needler and Alexis Grubaugh.

A gathering time for family and friends will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at Cicero Cemetery.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
