Jerry Wayne Eckart

Dr. Jerry Wayne Eckart, age 82, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away March 14, 2023 with his family at his side.

He was born May 14, 1940 at Central, Indiana to Kelso Wayne and Elizabeth (Mann) Eckart.  He graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1958.  He then furthered his education at Olivet Nazarene University.  Lastly he enrolled in the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis where he earned his DDS degree.  He worked for a brief time in private practice, but found his niche in making dentures.  He then worked for many years at The Denture Place with businesses in Kokomo, Marion, and Lafayette.

He married Robin Sue (Starrett) Eckart July 26, 1986 who preceded him in death July 16, 2021.  They were members of the Arcadia Church of the Brethren.  They also enjoyed going to Disney World with the grandchildren, family gatherings, and attending Hamilton Heights Sporting events, especially football games.

Leisure time would find Dr. Eckart reading and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving him are two daughters; Hillary (Anthony) Kilfoil of Noblesville, IN and Melissa (Bill) Moore of Indianapolis, IN, sons: Ross (Katherine) Eckart of Indianapolis, IN, and Thomas Eckart of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren: Cooper, Lydia, Quinn, and River Kilfoil and Gigi Eckart.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Hartley Funeral Home, Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson, Cicero, Indiana.  A time of visitation is from 12:00 noon until time of the service.  The Reverend Mark Knapp will officiate.  Burial will take place at Arcadia Cemetery.  Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel is entrusted with Dr. Eckart's services and where you may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhome.com.
