Kathy Louann Dotson

Kathy Louann Dotson, age 61, of Sheridan, Indiana passed away January 12, 2023 at her home.  She was born March 25, 1961 at Noblesville, Indiana to Louie and Norma (Randall) Odle.

Kathy had worked for several years as a nurses aide at various nursing homes that were located in Noblesville, Sheridan and Carmel.  She loved being around people and enjoyed helping them, so working in nursing homes was a good fit for her.  She also loved children and babies.  Her doctors sternly advised her not to have children due to her health issues, so she volunteered to work in the day care for children at her church.  She especially loved babies, so when babies arrived in her room they ended up in her loving care.  Leisure time would find Kathy shopping, coloring and spending time with her family.

She married Ronald Gene Dotson and found that he came with a family. This enriched her life with a step-daughter, Missy Green, step-sons: Jeff Dotson, Richard Dotson and Ron Faucett,  step-grandchildren: Matt, Justin and Evan Dotson, plus five great-grandchildren.. She also is survived by a brother Louie Odle and a sister, Debra Campbell.

Her parents and a brother, Larry Odle preceded in her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Hartley Funeral Homes, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at Crownland Cemetery at Noblesville, IN.  A time of visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the services.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
