Larry Lakin Lee, age 70, of Noblesville, IN passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020 at IU North Hospital after a seven and a half year battle with cancer and kidney failure.
He was born May 23, 1950 in Portland, IN to James and Mildred (Hardymon) Lee. His parents preceded him in death.
He graduated from Portland High School with the Class of 1968 and also the International Junior College in Ft. Wayne, IN with an associate degree in Computer Engineering.
He was employed for over 42 years in the computer industry, working at Essex Wire in Ft Wayne, Amdahl Corporation in California, and EMC in Massachusetts.
Leisure time would find Mr. Lee attending classic car shows, watching sporting events, traveling, and being with his family and friends.
He married Christine Lynn (Ring) Lee on July 29, 1972 in Portland, Indiana. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Angela (Ryan) Kirkendall of Westfield, IN, a son: Andrew (Brandi) Lee of Noblesville, IN, brothers: Carl Lee of Hartford City, IN and James Lee of Yorktown, IN, cousin: John Lee of Akron, OH, and grandsons: Henry, Coleman, Daryn, William, Elliot and Miles plus several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside rites will be held at Cicero Cicero Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Miles for Myeloma, c/o IU Foundation, P.O. Box 7072, Indianapolis, IN 46207-7072.
