Leila Sonia Caskey

Leila Sonia Caskey of Cicero, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2, 2022.

Leila Badawi was born February 8, 1965, to Fikry and Charlene Badawi in Lawrence, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father and two of her triplet brothers, Mike and Steven Badawi. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Hank Caskey; by her children Michael (Mimi) Hinterlong of Scottsdale, AZ and Amanda Hinterlong of Aurora, IL. Leila has 3 grandsons; Jason, Caleb (CJ), and Dominic all of Aurora, IL. She is also survived by her sister Lisa McNeely (Jeff), her brother Charles Badawi, and her mother Charlene Cripps. 

Leila loved making people laugh and serving others. She would give away anything she possessed to anyone who showed interest in something. She often opened her home to visitors some who stayed for several months. More than anything, Leila loved children and they loved her. She would spend hours on the floor playing and making them laugh. Her greatest love was reserved for her own children and grandchildren who always brought joy to her heart.
