Lendon Byram Obituary

Lendon Cole Byram, "Bubby" 17, passed away Saturday, May 1st, 2021. Lendon was born July 22, 2003 in Carmel, to Rick Byram and Sumer Sharp-Byram of Noblesville.

Lendon is his parent’s pride and joy, inheriting the endearing, engaging spirit of his mother and the steadfast resolve of his father. Classmates, school staff, friends, and family are mourning the loss of his big-time, witty personality, matched only by his trademark big hair and infectious mischievous grin, however it was his kind and gentle soul that truly set him apart from the crowd.

Lendon excelled at school and had a passion for world history, Roman Government, politics, and writing.  His love for comic books and drawing led him to become an amazing artist.  Lendon also loved Heavy Metal and loved playing his seven-string guitar.  He was held in extremely high regard by all his instructors at Cathedral High School where he was currently finishing up his Junior year. He was described as positively influencing and touching the lives of everyone he met.

Lendon had recently been inducted into the National Honor Society and as part of the speech and debate team, qualified for the national speech and debate tournament in the category of Extemporaneous Speaking.  He also had the honor of serving as a page at the Indiana State House for Rep. Tony Cook and Victoria Spartz. He was recently promoted to a Manager at Pizza by the Harbour, which he loved working at.

He loved his puppies and recently adopted a kitty, King Cat Rolo, who was taken in by Lendon, using his strong debate skills to convince his mother to add another family member. Lendon was blessed to spend his last hours with his girlfriend, Kalen Hart that brought so much joy.

Lendon is survived by his parents, Richard Byram Jr. and Sumer Sharp-Byram, grandparents; Richard & Brenda Byram Sr. and Bonnie Sharp,  Great Uncle, Aunt (& Cousins): Gary & Frankie Hiatt (Laura Hubert)  Aunts, Uncles (& Cousins)  Mike & Gina Rodgers (Aaron, Elliott, Dane and Caden),  Aaron & Jessica Byram (Gabby & Kellen), Levi & Virginia Byram (Vinson & Harrison), Jake and Lisa Lucheon (Isabelle), Tabatha Sharp ( Rachel & Franklin), Adam & Sophia Sharp (Henrique & Meme Machado & Reese).

He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Von Lendon Sharp.
