Barbara Linda Fetz, age 85, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away October 13, 2023 at Grand Brook at Fishers, Indiana.
She was born March 21, 1938 at Flint, Michigan to Donald and Virginia (Cook) MacDonald. She attended school at and graduated from St. Matthew Catholic School in Flint, Michigan. She then furthered her education with two years of college.
She had worked for many years in the food service area at Anderson Community Schools. She was known to be always happy and friendly to everyone, and that resulted in her having many friends. Her family related that she was the glue that held their family together. She loved family get-togethers and she was the one who organized them. She was a great cook and hostess and everyone looked forward to those gatherings.
Linda had also been on the Funeral Committee at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anderson, Indiana. She is a current member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, Indiana.
She married Larry Morton Fetz on May 9, 1959 who survives her. Also surviving are daughters: Sue Bagienski of Fishers, IN and Vicki Fetz of Noblesville, IN, brothers: Ned MacDonald of Grand Blanc, MI, Marty MacDonald of Waterford, MI, and Mike MacDonald of Kiawah Island, SC, a sister: Laurie McKeever of Swartz Creek, MI, grandchildren: Zach, Avary, Tony, and Steven, plus several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Matthew A. Fetz, a daughter: Valerie M. Fetz, and a brother: Donald MacDonald, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 410 South Pearl Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with a time of visitation from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
