Mary Ann Meyers

Mary Ann Meyers, age 62, of Arcadia, Indiana passed away April 9, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 3, 1960 at Noblesville, Indiana to Merrill Lee and Marilyn (Green) Meyers.  Growing up on a farm in the Walnut Grove Community she attended Walnut  Grove School and with the schools consolidating, graduated from Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1978.

She had worked for the United States Postal Service while also enjoying working on the farm.  Her family had received the Hoosier Homestead Award, an honor from the State of Indiana for family ownership of the land over 100 years.  And she just enjoyed country living.

She loved music, especially Beatles Music.  And she also played bass guitar and drums.  Her family related that she was a master at working the large Rubik's Cube and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her spouse: Kim Marie (Cheeke) Meyers of Arcadia, IN, daughter: Rebekah (Timothy) Orto  of Indianapolis, IN and an uncle: Don Alan Meyers of Arcadia, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Martin Meyers and a sister: Mary Lou Meyers.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, Indiana 46034 with burial to follow at Arcadia Cemetery.  Cards & Flowers are appreciated and may be sent to Kim Marie Meyers c/o Hartley Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
