Maryann Billmeier Obituary

Maryann Billmeier, age 77, of Carmel, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024, she passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel Hospital while surrounded by her family.  Maryann was born in Chicago on September 26, 1946, to the late Anthony & Elizabeth (Sforza) Lullo.

On October 5, 1968, she married Frank Billmeier and shared 56 years of marriage.

Maryann attended Kelly High School. She completed some college courses before starting her career as a legal secretary. Years later when she moved to Utah, Maryann moved into a teaching assistant position and continued with that work for several years in the Alpine School District in Orem, Utah, and the Crown Point School District in Northern Indiana. She was a teaching assistant in the Alpine School District in Utah and Crown Point School District in Northern Indiana.  She was a practicing Catholic and was currently attending services at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cicero, IN.  While living in Crown Pointe Maryann was a member of St. Matthias Church where she volunteered in many capacities including helping in the church kitchen for events and funeral dinners.   Although Maryann did not necessarily enjoy cooking, she was an excellent cook and would have to correct many of the dishes Frank would try to prepare.  Maryann loved being with her family and celebrating the holidays and birthdays.   She was known for having a card for every occasion.  Maryann will be missed by many.

Maryann is survived by her Husband, Frank Billmeier of Carmel, IN, Daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" (Kyle Krause) Billmeier of Morris Plains, NJ,  two Sons, Brian (Jennifer) Billmeier of Danville, IN, and Alex (Gretchen) Billmeier of Fishers, IN, grandchildren, Addy, Keith, Duncan, Judah, Heidi, Grace, and Ava; Brother’s, Ronald (Arlene) Lullo of Downers Grove, IL, and Donald (Mikki) Lullo of FL, as well as several nieces & nephews.
