Mickey Felton Obituary

Mickey Louie Felton, age 89, of Cicero, IN passed away July 24, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN.

He was born May 7, 1931 at Shamrock, OK to Aldred Louis and Sylvia Mae (Bailey) Felton.

Mickey graduated from Noblesville High School with the Class of 1949. During his school years he was involved in Boy Scouts, earning the award of Eagle Scout.   He also honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  

He then entered Purdue University where he earned a BS Degree in Applied Technology.  Furthering his education he earned a BA Degree in Business Administration. Mickey was an engineering administrator working in the field of designing orthopedic implants and injection molding.

Mickey was a member of the Dad's Club at Carmel and was a designer and builder of baseball fields for Little League teams at Carmel.  He also was a member of the Carmel American Legion and had served as their Post Commander. 

He was a member of First Christian Church at Noblesville, IN.

He married Evelyn June (Stern) Felton on December 24, 1950.  She preceded him in death September 16, 2015.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by two granddaughters: Lindsay Flowers and Jessica Beck, and a son-in- law: George Olson.  

Surviving him is a son: Michael (Bonny) Felton of Castleton, NY, daughters: Loralynn (Charles) Flowers of Cicero, IN, Michelle (George) Beck of Fishers, IN and Lisa Olson and partner Tim Robison of Kempton, IN and a sister: Billie Beaver of Phoenix , AZ, plus 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
