Muriel Lynn Wilson

Muriel Lynn Wilson, age 73, of Cicero, Indiana, passed away March 12, 2023 at Harbour Manor Living in Noblesville, Indiana.  She was born October 23, 1949 at Benton Harbor, Michigan to Phillip and Carol (Bujack) Hopkins.

She attended school at Andrews Academy in Berrien Springs, Michigan, then furthered her education at Andrews University where she earned her Registered Nursing Degree.  A few years later she became a Nurse Practitioner.  In that capacity she accepted a position with the Barry-Easton County Health Department as their Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Muriel also believed in holistic health care where she could make a difference in people's lives.  She enjoyed walking and hiking and just being outdoors. She also enjoyed playing the piano, reading, studying her Bible, and sharing her faith.

She married James Robert Wilson on October 15, 1972 and they were blessed with three children: Katrina Wright-Rayhill of Sturgis, MI, Cherry Bayley of St. Joseph, MI, and Lisa Barnwell of Mackinac, Island, MI, brothers: Jim Hopkins and Mike Hopkins, sisters: Holly Roy and Linda Vanveldhuizen, four grandchildren: Gavin, Carter, Seth, and Chance.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church, 24445 State Road 19, Cicero, IN 46034. Memorial contributions may be made to Adventist Foreign Missions, P.O. Box 286, Berrien Springs, Michigan  49103.
