Nancy Ruth Brandenburg

Nancy Ruth Brandenburg, age 79, of Cicero, IN passed away April 5, 2022 at Millers Merry Manor at Tipton, Indiana.  She was born December 12, 1942 at Indianapolis, Indiana to Ralph Preston and Helen Virginia (Fischer) Martin.

She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and Cosmetology School, both in Indianapolis, IN.  She worked for over forty years as a mental health technician at Community Hospitals.

Nancy attended Arcadia Church of the Brethren.

Leisure time would find her cooking, baking, sewing and working on craft projects.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and most conversations with her friends were eventually about them. When they were young she made matching outfits for them to wear.  As her family grew she became known as the family photographer.  She loved family gatherings and always made Christmas very special for everyone.

Survivors include daughters: Lisa Sue (Kyan) Campbell of Cicero, IN, and Helen (Antonio) Jennings of Indianapolis, IN, a son: Edwin "Jake" Brandenburg of Cicero, IN, brothers: Anthony Martin and Ralph Preston Martin, III, sister: Sue Morrison, grandchildren: Liza, Sarah, Isiah, Donoven, Anthony, and Alex, plus five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Virginia Colyer.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at Arcadia Church of the Brethren, 8989 East 266th Street, Arcadia, IN 46030 with Pastor Ben Poole officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 until time of the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
