Obituary

Indiana resident Norman Newman, 83, died December 13, 2021, in Noblesville, Indiana.

Mr. Newman was born March 15, 1938, in Benton Harbor, MI, to Virgil L Newman and Dorothy (Heistand) Newman.

Norman and his wife Dorothy Ann (Weinhart) Newman had been married for 61 years. They both loved riding their pontoon boat on Otisco Lake in New York, where they resided for many years.

Norman also greatly enjoyed fishing, cooking (especially with his family), making wine, gardening and growing flowers. Norman frequently gave flowers and vegetables away to his neighbors and friends.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dorothy. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Newman, children, Jeffrey Newman (Amanda) and Shari Pauley, grandsons, Wyatt and Cameron Newman, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cecile and Don Long, and brother-in-law John “Bud” Weinhart.

A time of visitation will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
