Orval Watts, Jr. age 94, of Cicero, Indiana passed away September 9, 2021 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN.
He was born October 25, 1926 at Fairmont, West Virginia to Orval Watts, Sr. and Minnie (Cooker) Watts. After his early schooling he earned a BS Degree in accounting and finance. And he used these skills in his life's work.
He joined and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for over 25 years. He served in WW II, the Korean Conflict, and the Viet Nam War. After being honorably discharged from his final tour of duty he taught accounting and finance classes at Ft. Benjamin Harris Finance Center for several years.
His family related that he was a very patriotic person, loved the structure of being in the military, and enjoyed working in different countries. His favorite country was South Korea. Leisure time would find him on a golf course as he became an avid golfer.
Surviving him is a son: James Watts of California, and daughters: Yvonne Clayton of Cicero, IN and Sandy Ye of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Sue Suk-cha Watts on September 17, 2013.
