Paul Matthew Morse

Paul Matthew (Matt) Morse, age 35 of Carmel, IN perished in a tragic single vehicle crash on his way to work Saturday morning, November 6, 2021.

Matt was born December 9, 1985 in Muncie, Indiana to Douglas and Cynthia (Bentz) Morse, who survive him.  Matt graduated in 2005 from Hamilton Heights High School at Arcadia, IN, where he was active in football and wrestling.  Matt was employed at Landscapes Unlimited as a Foreman of the Design and Build group as he had a keen eye for designing and building hardscapes.

He was quite a perfectionist in his work and wanted to ensure his clients were happy.  He always kept his co-workers entertained with his quick wit, contagious smile and quirky sayings.

Matt lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed the simple things in life.  He was kind-hearted, loved animals, music, the Miami Hurricanes, the great out doors and spending time with family and friends.  Matt's favorite pastime of all was spending time with his two children, Bashtian Matthew Morse, age 6, and Espyn Grace Morse, age 4.  When they were together, it was often hard to tell who was having the most fun, daddy or his kids.  Matt was a loving and attentive dad who always wanted the best for his babies.

Matt is also leaving a huge hole in the hearts of his parents, Doug and Cyndi (Bentz) Morse, sister Staci (Sis) Bond, niece Alexa (Doodles) Bond, aunts, uncles and cousins.  It will never be the same without his humor, his contagious laugh, dazzling smile, sparkling blue eyes and the best hugs ever.  With faith, love and being a close and supportive family they are determined to somehow make it through the pain and sorrow.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Services will begin at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Knapp officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Morse Kids TR Fund at any Key Bank Location.  Also donation envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
