Richard Cleo Wright

Richard Cleo Wright, age 67, of Arcadia, Indiana passed away May 17, 2022 at I.U. North Hospital at Carmel, Indiana.

He was born February 26, 1955 in Tipton, Indiana to Paul and Peggy (Stanley) Wright.  He obtained his education at Hamilton Heights Schools and soon became self-employed, working in the field of residential construction.  Rick, as he was fondly known was an animal lover, and he had two special German Shepherd dogs that often rode with him in his service truck and patiently watched his truck as he worked.  He was also protective of cats and dogs in his neighborhood and cared for them as needed.

His family related that he was held in high esteem by all of them and was the favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews.  He was a good listener to all and wonderful care giver to his mother and step-father.  He enjoyed fishing and listening to classic rock and roll music.  He also liked to prepare food and his siblings said he came up with some strange combinations, but it worked for him and was very tasty.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul and Peggy Wright, step father, Robert Stringer, and sister, Patti Bess.

Surviving him are three sisters: Cindie Million of Anderson, IN, Mickie Kerfoot of Marble Falls, Texas and Paula Adair of Kokomo, IN, brothers: David Wright of Jasonville, IN and Robert Wright of Bowling Green, IN plus 18 nieces and nephews.

Graveside rites will be held June 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Arcadia Cemetery near Arcadia, Indiana with a Celebration of Life to follow at 200 DeMoss Avenue, Arcadia, IN 46030.  Memorial contributions may be made to Angel's Attic,  P.O.
