Ronald Alvin Bible, age 84, of Fishers, IN passed away August 24, 2021 at Hamilton Trace in Fishers.
He was born July 11, 1937 at Detroit, Michigan to Maurice Gene and Cora Louise (Johnson) Bible.
Ronald was a graduate of Buffalo High School at Buffalo, IN. He then furthered his education at Taylor University, Ball State University, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at Grace College in 1961. He was chaplain of his graduating class. He then received an MS Degree at St. Francis University in Ft. Wayne and lastly he earned his Educational Administrators Degree from Indiana University.
Ronald taught school in Syracuse, Kokomo and Spencer Indiana and was principal for four years and taught school for 21 years in Huntington. In semi-retirement he substitute taught for 10 years in Hamilton County schools.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis.
He married Barbara May (Brown) Bible on June 21, 1971. She survives him. Also surviving are daughters: Beth Ann (William ) Carson of Kankakee, IL, and Lori Lynn Moghadam of Noblesville, IN, sisters: Glenda Fergus of Monticello, IN and Kathy Berry of Aptos of California, grandchildren: Chase, Kaycee, Isaiah, and Noah.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Anita Goodnight.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at Cicero Cemetery at Cicero, IN.
