Russell Lee Elder, age 54, of Atlanta, IN passed away August 21, 2020 near Arcadia, IN.

He was born January 19, 1966 at Mattoon, Illinois to Ronald Gene Elder and Esther Louise Nelson. He attended schools in Sullivan, IL.

Russell was a heavy equipment operator working in central Indiana.

He is survived by his daughter; Jessika Louise Elder of Harrisburg, IL, Mother: Esther Louise Nelson of Sullivan, IL, brothers: James Elder of Sullivan, IL, Howard Elder of Decatur, IL, grandchildren: Kaisyn Jo, and Kaige River plus several step sisters.

He is preceded in death by a step sister.

He will be laid to rest in Green Hill Cemetery at Sullivan, IL. Local arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel where you may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
