Theresa Lynn Ricketts

Theresa Lynn Ricketts, age 66, of Atlanta, IN passed away October 24, 2021 at her home.

She was born February 24, 1955 at Indianapolis, IN to Darrell and Mary Winona (Hoyt) Murphy.   She grew up in Indianapolis and was educated at Manual High School.  She started working at a young age as a waitress and had worked in several restaurants in the Indianapolis area.  She was outgoing and friendly and therefore well-suited for her occupation.

Theresa enjoyed doing various crafts, watching and feeding the birds, all kinds of music, watching cowboy movies and taking pictures.  Several of her photos were framed and enjoyed by friends and family.  Her favorite leisure time was just being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Teresa was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving her is a son: Christopher Allen (Melissa) Smith of Atlanta, IN, daughters: Rachelle Lynn (Rey) Hays of Atlanta, IN, siblings: Donald Murphy, Jeff Murphy and Laura Bailey all of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren: Joseph, Jacob, and Jonathon, plus 6 great-grandchildren.

Her parents and a sister: Cheryl Embry preceded her in death.
