Toni Jean Richards

Toni Jean Richards, age 73, of Noblesville, IN passed away August 26, 2021 at Hamilton Trace in Fishers, IN.

She was born March 17, 1948 at Elwood, Indiana to Olin and Phyllis (Boes) Evans. After receiving her GED she took courses at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis.  She worked for over 30 years at Firestone Industrial Rubber Company at Noblesville, Indiana.  Being a hard worker, she had worked making tank tracts, being a shift leader and lastly found herself in the shipping department where she ran fork lift trucks.

Leisure time found her enjoying reading, fishing, bowling, and playing games of bingo.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her family said that she was not only a mom and grandma, but also their best friend.  They also related that she was understanding, compassionate, friendly and outgoing, and never met a stranger.

Surviving her is a son: Billy Eugene (Annette) Richards of Noblesville, IN, daughters: Sandra Kay Trout of Anderson, IN and Susan Dickason of Ohio, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandchild: Joseph Allen Richards, a brother: Michael Bess and a sister: Gayle McClain.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034,  with Pastor Alan Muxlow officiating.   Visitation will be from 3:00 until 6:00 P.M. prior to the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hartley Funeral Homes to assist the family.  Donation envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
