Wanda Lou Freeman

Wanda Lou Freeman, age 90, of Anderson, IN and formerly of Cicero, IN passed away October 30, 2019 at Providence Nursing Home in Anderson, IN.

She was born April 25, 1929 at Noblesville, IN to Freddie Lee and Martha Pearl (Lowe) Widows.  She attended local schools and graduated from Jackson Central High School in Arcadia, IN.

Wanda Married Phillip Eugene Freeman on June 25, 1948.  He preceded her in death March 7, 1997.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: Mark Phillip Freeman, a brother: Garland "Bud" Widows, and sisters: Evelyn Boyer, Maxine Dick and Mary Griffin.

She enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and homemaker.  She was a member of the Cicero American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving her is a daughter: Rita A. Baird of Lapel, IN, a sister: Bonnie Stinnett, and grandchildren: Desirae Hoskins, Zachery Baird and Shane Baird, great grandchildren: Brittney Coleman, Cameron Coleman and Emory Baird.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with burial to follow at the Cicero Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of the services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.  You may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
